- 1 cup chocolate frosting

- 1/4 cup chocolate ganache
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two cake pans.
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together.
- Add the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients, and mix until well combined.
- Carefully stir in the boiling water; the batter will be thin, which is normal.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cakes to cool completely in the pans on a wire rack.
- Once cool, layer the cakes with chocolate frosting and whipped cream in between the layers.
- Pour the chocolate ganache over the top of the cake, letting it drip down the sides.
- Decorate the cake with chocolate chips and candies for an extra special touch.
- Chill the cake in the refrigerator for 1 hour before serving.
