Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup hazelnut spread
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts
  • 2 tbsp chocolate sauce

Instructions

  1. Mix the chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter together. Press this mixture into the bottom of an 8-inch springform pan. Chill it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate using a double boiler. Once melted, let it cool slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  4. Carefully fold the melted chocolate and hazelnut spread into the whipped cream until well combined.
  5. Pour this creamy mixture over the chilled crust. Smooth the top with a spatula and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
  6. Before serving, sprinkle the chopped hazelnuts on top and drizzle with chocolate sauce.
  7. Slice and enjoy this delicious cake!
