Description

A rich and delicious treat combining layers of pound cake with creamy mascarpone and heavy cream, topped with warm chocolate ganache and nuts.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate ganache
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whip together heavy cream, mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  2. Layer the sliced pound cake at the bottom of a dish, spreading the cream mixture between each layer of cake.
  3. Pour the warm chocolate ganache over the top of the cake, letting it drip down the sides.
  4. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top, then refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.

Notes

To enhance flavor, consider adding espresso powder to the cream mixture. Ensure not to over-whip the cream.
