- 1 cup melted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix well.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing after each addition.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then gradually add to the wet mixture. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and let cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
Serve warm, plain, or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. For added flavor, dust with powdered sugar or mix in chocolate chips.
