Description
A delicious treat that combines rich chocolate brownies and creamy cheesecake topped with sweet caramel, making it perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package of brownie mix
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions. Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch springform pan and bake for 20 minutes. Let it cool slightly.
- While the brownie base is baking, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the sour cream.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cooled brownie base. Drizzle caramel sauce on top and swirl it with a knife to create a marbled effect.
- Bake the cheesecake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is almost set. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside for 1 hour.
- Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours or overnight. Before serving, drizzle more caramel sauce on top and sprinkle with chocolate chips and chopped nuts if desired.
Notes
Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for smooth filling. Store leftovers in an airtight container; keeps fresh for about 5 days.
