Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate, melted
  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix well.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form a crust.
  4. Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes, then let it cool completely.
  5. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  6. Add vanilla extract and eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  7. Mix in the sour cream, heavy cream, and cocoa powder until well combined.
  8. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled crust.
  9. Bake for 50-55 minutes until set but slightly wobbly in the center.
  10. Allow it to cool completely.
  11. Once cooled, spread the cherry pie filling evenly on top.
  12. Drizzle melted dark chocolate over the cherries.
  13. Top with whipped cream before serving.
