Deliciously fudgy Dark Chocolate Brownies that satisfy your chocolate cravings.

- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips (for melting)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp dark cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour)
- Pinch of espresso powder (optional)
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (to fold into batter)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
- In a bowl, combine melted butter and 1 cup dark chocolate chips. Stir until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar for 2-3 minutes until light and frothy.
- Mix the melted chocolate into the egg mixture.
- Stir in the dark cocoa powder, vanilla extract, flour, and espresso powder (if using).
- Fold in the additional 1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-28 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool in the pan before slicing them into 16 squares. Enjoy!

Serve warm or at room temperature. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
