Description
A delicious meal that combines savory crispy spiral sausages and perfectly spiced fries, ideal for a quick dinner or a game day snack.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 large beef or chicken sausages
- 2 large russet potatoes (or 2 cups frozen fries)
- 1 tbsp oil (for cooking sausages)
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for tossing fries)
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Lightly score the sausages diagonally on both sides to get that crispy spiral char.
- Slice the potatoes into thick fries or use frozen fries. Toss them with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pan-fry the sausages in a little oil over medium heat, turning often until they are golden brown and fully cooked.
- Bake the fries at 425°F (220°C) for 20-25 minutes or air-fry for 15 minutes, shaking halfway for even cooking.
- Serve the sausages hot alongside the spiced fries, garnished with fresh parsley or chili flakes if desired.
Notes
For crispier fries, soak the sliced potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes before cooking. Experiment with different spices for your fries.
