Ingredients

  • 2 cups finely chopped steamed broccoli
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs (plus extra for coating)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Olive oil spray or cooking spray (for baking/frying)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine chopped broccoli, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and 1 cup of panko. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Scoop the mixture and roll it into 1.5-inch balls.
  3. Dip each ball in the beaten egg, then roll in extra panko for a crispy coating.
  4. Cook: Oven: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway. Air Fryer: Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes until golden. Fried: Shallow fry in hot oil until crispy and browned.
