A delightful mix of sweet corn, tender crab meat, and spices, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups corn kernels (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 1/2 cups seafood or chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp Creole seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 8 oz cooked crab meat
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a pot over medium heat. Add the onion, celery, and garlic. Sauté until soft.
  2. Stir in corn, broth, cream, Creole seasoning, smoked paprika, and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Gently fold in crab meat and green onions. Heat until warmed through.
  4. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and a pinch of paprika.

Notes

For added flavor, use homemade broth. Adjust Creole seasoning to your spice preference.
