A hearty meal featuring tender steak and a creamy, spicy sauce combined with pasta for a satisfying dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 12 oz pasta (penne, rigatoni, or linguine)
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella (for extra cheesiness)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta until al dente, according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak pieces with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. In a large skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tbsp butter. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream. Let it simmer for 2 minutes, then stir in Parmesan and mozzarella cheese. Whisk until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and steak back into the skillet. Toss everything together until fully coated in the spicy, creamy, cheesy sauce.
  6. Plate it up and garnish with freshly chopped parsley and a little more Parmesan if desired.

Notes

For a veggie boost, add some spinach or cherry tomatoes to the pasta before serving. Adjust the spice level as per your taste.
