Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 4 cups beef broth (or chicken broth)
  • 2 cups milk (or cream)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the ground beef (or turkey) over medium heat until browned.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the diced potatoes and broth. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
  5. Stir in the milk (or cream) and heat through.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
