Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to create the crust.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, peanut butter, and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Pour the peanut butter mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
  7. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside for one hour.
  8. Remove from the oven and chill in the refrigerator for at least four hours before serving.

Notes

Ensure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature for a smooth texture. For variation, add a layer of chocolate ganache on top.
