Ingredients

- 12 oz medium pasta shells
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 small onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup cooked, crumbled bacon
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta shells according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and cook for 2 minutes. Add garlic and ground beef. Cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Reduce heat to low. Stir in heavy cream and beef broth. Simmer for 3–4 minutes. Add cheddar cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet. Stir to coat evenly. Season with smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Sprinkle bacon over the top. Optional: broil for 2–3 minutes for a bubbly golden finish. Garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
Don’t overcook the pasta to ensure it doesn’t get mushy. Customize the cheese or add vegetables for extra nutrition.
