Description

A delightful mix of tender steak and creamy pasta, this recipe delivers rich flavors of garlic and cheese, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 12 oz medium shell pasta
  • 4 tbsp butter, divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook shell pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak with smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. In a large skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium-high heat. Add the steak pieces and sear for 3–4 minutes per side until nicely browned and tender. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tbsp butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in heavy cream, stir in garlic powder and onion powder, and let simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Lower heat and stir in mozzarella and Parmesan. Whisk until melted, and the sauce is smooth, thick, and cheesy.
  5. Add cooked pasta and steak back to the pan. Toss to coat in the creamy garlic sauce until everything is evenly combined and hot.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve hot and creamy.

Notes

Make sure to not overcook the steak; aim for a nice sear while keeping it tender. Adjust the amount of garlic based on your preference. Feel free to modify the cheese for unique flavors.
