Description
A delightful mix of tender steak and creamy pasta, this recipe delivers rich flavors of garlic and cheese, perfect for a comforting meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 12 oz medium shell pasta
- 4 tbsp butter, divided
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1.5 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook shell pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season steak with smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. In a large skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium-high heat. Add the steak pieces and sear for 3–4 minutes per side until nicely browned and tender. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tbsp butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in heavy cream, stir in garlic powder and onion powder, and let simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Lower heat and stir in mozzarella and Parmesan. Whisk until melted, and the sauce is smooth, thick, and cheesy.
- Add cooked pasta and steak back to the pan. Toss to coat in the creamy garlic sauce until everything is evenly combined and hot.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve hot and creamy.
Notes
Make sure to not overcook the steak; aim for a nice sear while keeping it tender. Adjust the amount of garlic based on your preference. Feel free to modify the cheese for unique flavors.
