- 8 oz pasta (e.g., fettuccine or penne)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup spinach (optional)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and slice.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine, and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, and let it thicken slightly.
- Add cooked pasta, spinach (if using), and sliced chicken to the sauce, tossing to coat everything evenly.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For best flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Feel free to add vegetables like broccoli or bell peppers.
