A delicious and comforting dish featuring tender chicken in a rich, creamy garlic sauce served over fluffy rice.
Ingredients

- 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper (or more!)
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (optional, for thickness)
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 cups cooked rice (white or jasmine)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season the cubed chicken with salt and pepper. Sear the chicken until golden brown, then remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream, black pepper, onion powder, and the cornstarch slurry if using, then simmer until slightly thickened.
- Add the cooked chicken back into the pan and simmer for another 3–5 minutes until cooked through.
- Spoon the creamy chicken sauce over freshly cooked rice, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
Best served immediately for a warm and creamy experience. Pair with a light salad or steamed vegetables.
