Description
A festive and delicious puff pastry Christmas tree filled with melty Brie cheese, sweet cranberry sauce, and crunchy pistachios.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz wheel of Brie cheese
- 1/4 cup cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup pistachios, chopped
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Fresh rosemary or thyme (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unfold the puff pastry and cut it into a large triangle to resemble a Christmas tree.
- Place the Brie cheese in the center of the triangle. Spread the cranberry sauce over the Brie and sprinkle chopped pistachios on top.
- Make slits along both sides of the triangle, leaving the center intact. Fold each slit over the filling, twisting the ends to create a tree-like appearance.
- Brush the pastry with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs to complete the tree effect. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
