Crispy, golden Crab Rangoon Bombs filled with creamy crab and perfect for any gathering!
Ingredients

- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup imitation crab meat, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp green onions or chives, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine cream cheese, chopped crab, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Scoop the mixture and roll it into small balls. Freeze for 15–20 minutes until firm.
- Roll each ball in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry in batches for 2–3 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Garnish with extra chives and serve hot with sweet chili or soy dipping sauce.
Notes
For a richer flavor, you can substitute real crab meat for imitation crab. Optionally, bake them at 375°F (190°C) for about 20 minutes.
