Description

Crispy, golden Crab Rangoon Bombs filled with creamy crab and perfect for any gathering!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup imitation crab meat, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp green onions or chives, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, chopped crab, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Scoop the mixture and roll it into small balls. Freeze for 15–20 minutes until firm.
  3. Roll each ball in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry in batches for 2–3 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  5. Garnish with extra chives and serve hot with sweet chili or soy dipping sauce.

Notes

For a richer flavor, you can substitute real crab meat for imitation crab. Optionally, bake them at 375°F (190°C) for about 20 minutes.
