- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup Snickers bars (chopped)
- 1/2 cup Reese’s peanut butter cups (chopped)
- 1/2 cup butter (softened)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
- 2 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Make the Cookie Dough: In a bowl, mix together the softened butter and brown sugar until creamy. Add vanilla, milk, and the heat-treated flour. Stir in the mini chocolate chips. Roll the mixture into small chunks and place them in the freezer.
- Prepare the Ice Cream Base: In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until everything is smooth. Chill this mixture in the refrigerator for about 120 minutes.
- Churn & Mix-Ins: Pour the chilled ice cream mixture into your ice cream maker. Churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions. In the last few minutes of churning, add the frozen cookie dough chunks, chopped Snickers, and chopped Reese’s.
- Freeze & Serve: Once mixed well, transfer the ice cream into a suitable container and freeze it for 240-360 minutes. When ready, scoop out the delicious ice cream and enjoy!
Notes
Store leftover ice cream in an airtight container in the freezer for optimal freshness. Consume within a week or two.
