- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two 9-inch round cake pans with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until mixed. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix until just combined. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans and smooth it out. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let them cool in the pans.
- In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add the milk and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Stir in the flour and salt until fully combined, then fold in the mini chocolate chips. Spread the cookie dough evenly over one of the cooled brownie layers.
- In a heatproof bowl, combine the chocolate chips and heavy cream. Microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring in between until smooth and glossy. Let it cool slightly.
- Place the second brownie layer on top of the cookie dough and pour the ganache over the top, letting it drip down the sides.
- Allow the ganache to set for about 30 minutes before slicing. Serve with milk or vanilla ice cream.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use high-quality cocoa powder. Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for better texture.
