Description

A delicious and easy sandwich made from leftover meatloaf, layered with mayonnaise, provolone cheese, and lettuce.


Ingredients

  • Meatloaf
  • White Bread
  • Mayonnaise
  • Provolone Cheese
  • Shredded Iceberg Lettuce
  • Russet Potatoes (for Steak Fries)

Instructions

  1. Slice the meatloaf into sandwich-sized pieces.
  2. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of white bread.
  3. Layer a slice of provolone cheese and shredded iceberg lettuce on top of the meatloaf slice.
  4. Top with another slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
  5. For the steak fries, cut russet potatoes into wedges, toss with oil, salt, and pepper, and bake in an oven at 425°F (220°C) for about 30-35 minutes until crispy.

Notes

For best taste, eat the sandwich cold or reheat the meatloaf slice before assembling.
