- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup brewed coffee (chilled)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate (finely chopped)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, mix together the heavy cream, whole milk, chilled brewed coffee, sugar, and vanilla extract until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker, churning it according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- When nearly done churning, sprinkle in the finely chopped dark chocolate pieces.
- Transfer the ice cream into an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
Notes
For a bolder coffee flavor, use strong coffee or espresso. Experiment with different types of chocolate flakes like milk chocolate or white chocolate.
