A delicious homemade coffee ice cream featuring rich coffee flavor and crunchy dark chocolate flecks.

- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup brewed coffee (chilled)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate (finely chopped)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, mix together the heavy cream, whole milk, chilled brewed coffee, sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker, churning according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- When churning is almost finished, sprinkle in finely chopped dark chocolate pieces.
- Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours to firm up.
Notes
For a stronger coffee flavor, use a strong brew or espresso. Chill the mixture in the fridge before churning for a creamier texture.
