Ingredients

- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup brewed coffee (chilled)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate (finely chopped)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, mix together the heavy cream, whole milk, chilled brewed coffee, sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk everything until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- When almost done churning, sprinkle in the finely chopped dark chocolate pieces.
- Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
Notes
For a stronger coffee flavor, use espresso. If you lack an ice cream maker, freeze the mixture in a shallow dish, stirring every 30 minutes until desired consistency is achieved.
