- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 6 large eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, vegetable oil, and sugar until fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder. Gradually add to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan.
- Bake for 70-80 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For added flavor, you can incorporate shredded coconut into the batter. Store wrapped to keep fresh.
