- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 3 cups beef broth
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions
- In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the diced onion, minced garlic, and diced green bell pepper to the pot. Sauté for 4-5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Add the elbow macaroni to the pot. Reduce the heat to a simmer and cover with a lid.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender.
- If desired, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese just before serving for a creamy finish. Serve hot and enjoy!
