A beloved Italian no-bake dessert featuring layers of espresso-soaked ladyfingers and rich mascarpone cheese.
Ingredients

- 400g ladyfingers
- 500g mascarpone cheese
- 4 egg yolks
- 150g sugar
- 200ml strong espresso
- 200ml whipping cream
Instructions
- Brew strong espresso and let it cool.
- In a bowl, beat together egg yolks and sugar until creamy.
- Add mascarpone cheese to the egg mixture and mix until smooth.
- Whip the cream until stiff peaks form and gently fold it into the mascarpone mixture.
- Dip ladyfingers briefly into the espresso and layer them in a dessert dish.
- Spread a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with the mascarpone mixture on top.
- Dust with cocoa powder.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 240 minutes before serving.
Notes
Make sure your espresso is strong and do not soak the ladyfingers for too long. Enjoy best within the first couple of days.
