Description

Cinnamon Raisin Bagels are a sweet and flavorful treat perfect for breakfast or a snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl to form a dough.
  2. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it is smooth.
  3. Let it rise for about an hour or until it has doubled in size.
  4. Shape the risen dough into bagels by forming a small ball and poking a hole in the center.
  5. Boil each bagel briefly in water for about 30 seconds on each side.
  6. Place the boiled bagels on a baking sheet and bake at 200°C for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

Make sure your water is warm but not too hot, and consider adding more raisins or nuts for added flavor.
