- 1/2 cup brown sugar

- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/4 cup honey
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
- Cream together granulated sugar and unsalted butter until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Mix in the buttermilk until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool, then drizzle melted butter and honey on top and sprinkle with powdered sugar mixed with a bit of milk before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding chopped nuts or raisins to the batter. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
