- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups chocolate pudding
- 1 cup vanilla pudding
- 1 container Cool Whip
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the chopped pecans with the melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish to form the crust.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until it is set and golden. Allow the crust to cool.
- In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread this cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
- Prepare the chocolate pudding according to package instructions, then spread it over the cream cheese layer.
- Next, prepare the vanilla pudding according to package instructions and spread it over the chocolate pudding.
- Finally, top the dessert with Cool Whip. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
Make sure the cream cheese is softened to avoid lumps. Can be prepped a day in advance for better flavor.
