Description

A rich no-bake dessert combining chocolate, vanilla, and crunchy pecans, perfect for gatherings and sweet indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pecans, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 package (3.9 oz) chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 container (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine chopped pecans and melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan to form the crust. Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden. Allow the crust to cool.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread this mixture over the cooled crust.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate and vanilla pudding mixes with the milk until thickened. Pour this over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Finally, top with Cool Whip. Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Use freshly chopped pecans and ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for a smooth texture. Leftovers can be stored for up to three days.
