- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (additional)
- 3 large bananas, sliced
- 1 box (14.4 oz) graham crackers, crushed
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- Peanut butter cups, chopped
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
- Prepare the chocolate pudding mix according to the package instructions using the 2 cups of cold milk. Chill until set.
- In another bowl, beat together the peanut butter and additional powdered sugar until smooth.
- In a large trifle dish, start with a layer of crushed graham crackers. Top with a layer of chocolate pudding, then a layer of sliced bananas, followed by a layer of whipped cream.
- Dollop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture over the whipped cream layer. Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips.
- Continue layering the ingredients until the dish is full, finishing with a layer of whipped cream.
- Garnish the top with chopped peanut butter cups and a few more mini chocolate chips.
- Refrigerate the trifle for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
Make sure to whip the cream to stiff peaks for the best texture. Use ripe bananas for added sweetness.
