Delicious chocolate cupcakes filled with creamy orange ganache, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 150g flour
- 150g sugar
- 150g unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 3 eggs
- 40g cocoa powder
- 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
- 3 tablespoons milk
- Zest of 1 orange
- 50ml orange juice
- 100g black chocolate
- 100ml cream
- Zest of 1 orange (for ganache)
- 1 tablespoon orange juice (for ganache)
- Orange slices (for decoration)
- Chocolate hearts (for decoration)
- Orange glaze (for decoration)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Beat the butter and sugar together until soft and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one by one, beating well after each addition.
- Mix in the cocoa powder, orange zest, and orange juice.
- Sift the flour and baking powder, then add them to the mixture along with the milk.
- Pour the mixture into cupcake molds and bake for 18-20 minutes.
- For the ganache, heat the cream and pour it over the chopped chocolate.
- Mix in the orange zest and orange juice until the ganache is smooth.
- Make a hole in the center of each cupcake and fill it with the orange ganache.
- Cover the cupcakes with orange glaze and decorate them with orange slices and chocolate hearts.
Notes
Best served fresh; can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature, or up to a week in the fridge.
