- 250 g dark chocolate
- 220 g heavy cream
- 125 g white sugar
- 3 large eggs
Instructions
- Chop the chocolate and melt it in the microwave or over a double boiler. Allow it to cool slightly.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture becomes thick and creamy.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold in the melted chocolate.
- Carefully fold the egg mixture into the chocolate-cream mixture until well combined.
- Pour the mousse into glasses or containers and refrigerate for 4-5 hours. Optionally, top with chocolate shavings or fruit before serving.
Notes
Make sure the chocolate is slightly cooled before mixing to prevent the eggs from cooking. Whip the cream to soft peaks to create a light mousse.
