Description

A rich cake combining dark chocolate and crunchy hazelnuts, perfect for celebrations or any indulgent day.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 150g butter
  • 150g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 100g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 100g hazelnuts, chopped
  • 200ml cream
  • 50g cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a bowl until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until fluffy.
  4. Mix the melted chocolate into the egg and sugar mixture.
  5. Fold in the flour, baking powder, and half of the chopped hazelnuts.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased cake tin and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Once baked, take the cake out and let it cool.
  8. In a small pot, heat the cream and cocoa powder together, stirring until smooth.
  9. Pour the chocolate cream over the cooled cake.
  10. Sprinkle the remaining chopped hazelnuts on top.
  11. Serve and enjoy your delicious Chocolate Hazelnut Delight Cake!
