Description

A rich and delicious dessert that combines dark chocolate and crunchy hazelnuts, perfect for celebrations or satisfying your sweet tooth.


Ingredients

  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 150g butter
  • 150g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 100g flour
  • 200ml cream
  • 100g hazelnuts
  • 50g cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 200g chocolate ganache
  • 100g chocolate balls

Instructions

  1. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a bowl.
  2. In another bowl, mix the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Add the flour and cocoa powder to the egg mixture and stir well.
  4. Fold in the melted chocolate and butter until combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased cake tin.
  6. Bake at 180°C for 25 minutes.
  7. Once baked, let the cake cool completely.
  8. Spread the cream over the top of the cooled cake.
  9. Sprinkle chopped hazelnuts on top of the cream.
  10. Cover the cake with chocolate ganache and decorate with chocolate balls.
  11. Chill the cake in the refrigerator for 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Toast hazelnuts for extra flavor and ensure chocolate and butter are fully melted for a smooth batter.
