Ingredients

- 200g dark chocolate
- 150g butter
- 150g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 100g hazelnuts, chopped
- 200ml cream
- 50g cocoa powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl until smooth.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until fluffy.
- Mix the melted chocolate into the egg mixture.
- Fold in the flour, baking powder, and half of the chopped hazelnuts.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake tin and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Once baked, let the cake cool completely.
- In a saucepan, heat the cream and cocoa powder, stirring until smooth.
- Pour the chocolate cream over the cooled cake.
- Sprinkle the remaining chopped hazelnuts on top.
- Slice, serve, and enjoy!
