Ingredients

  • 1 cup hazelnuts, toasted and chopped

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and chocolate chips together over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Mix in the flour, salt, and toasted hazelnuts until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Let cool before cutting into bars.
