Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate fudge cake mix
  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan thoroughly.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, brownie mix, eggs, water, oil, and sour cream. Mix until well blended and smooth, avoiding overmixing. Fold in chocolate chips if desired.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs. Cool in the pan for 15 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.
  4. For the fudge glaze, heat heavy cream in a saucepan until simmering, then stir in chocolate chips and butter until smooth.
  5. Drizzle the warm fudge glaze over the cooled cake and let it set for 10-15 minutes before serving. Enjoy with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
