A rich and decadent dessert combining the fudgy texture of brownies with indulgent chocolate frosting.
Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and stir in the sugar. Add eggs one at a time and mix well. Stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder, then fold into the wet mixture. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely in the pan.
- For ganache, heat heavy cream until it simmers, pour it over chopped chocolate, let it sit, then whisk until smooth.
- Pour ganache over the cooled brownie and let it set. Slice and serve!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or in the fridge for up to a week. Freeze individual slices for up to three months.
