  • 1 cup Chocolate jimmie sprinkles
  • 3/4 cup Natural unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 10 1/4 cups Powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 1/4 cups Shortening
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup Coffee

  2. Cream together the shortening, butter, and sugar until light and fluffy.

  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, mixing until just combined.
  6. Stir in the coffee, instant espresso powder, and Kahlua, mixing until smooth.
  7. Fold in chocolate jimmie sprinkles.
  8. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
