- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp almond extract
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth and well combined.
- Add the granulated sugar and continue mixing until creamy.
- Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract until fully incorporated.
- Gradually stir in the flour and baking powder, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Roll the dough into tablespoon-sized balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes.
- Let the cookies sit on the baking sheet for 3-5 minutes, then transfer to cooling racks.
Notes
Make sure your butter and cream cheese are at room temperature for a smooth texture. Don’t overmix the dough after adding flour.
