  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth and well combined.
  2. Add the granulated sugar and continue mixing until creamy.
  3. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract until fully incorporated.
  4. Gradually stir in the flour and baking powder, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Roll the dough into tablespoon-sized balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes.
  8. Let the cookies sit on the baking sheet for 3-5 minutes, then transfer to cooling racks.
