- 40 oz refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
- 16 oz cream cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Freeze the cookie dough for a few hours to make it easier to slice.
- Soften the cream cheese at room temperature.
- Let the egg sit out until it reaches room temperature.
- Line a 13×9 inch pan with parchment paper or non-stick foil for easy removal.
- Slice half of the cookie dough into 1/4 inch slices and press them into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, egg, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread this cheesecake mixture over the baked crust.
- Slice the remaining cookie dough and layer it on top of the cheesecake.
- Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 35-40 minutes, or until set and golden.
- Let the bars cool completely, then refrigerate them before serving.
Notes
Top with whipped cream or chocolate sauce for extra flavor. Store in an airtight container for 5-7 days.
