Description

Delightful dessert combining creamy cheesecake and sweet chocolate chip cookies, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 40 oz refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 16 oz cream cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Freeze the cookie dough for a few hours to make it easier to slice.
  3. Soften the cream cheese at room temperature.
  4. Let the egg sit out until it reaches room temperature.
  5. Line a 13×9 inch pan with parchment paper or non-stick foil for easy removal.
  6. Slice half of the cookie dough into 1/4 inch slices and press them into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  7. Bake the crust for 10 minutes.
  8. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, egg, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread this cheesecake mixture over the baked crust.
  9. Slice the remaining cookie dough and layer it on top of the cheesecake.
  10. Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 35-40 minutes, or until set and golden.
  11. Let the bars cool completely, then refrigerate them before serving.

Notes

Top with whipped cream or chocolate sauce for extra flavor. Store in an airtight container for 5-7 days.
