- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup hot coffee
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and baking soda.
- Add buttermilk and eggs to the dry mixture. Stir until the batter is smooth.
- Slowly mix in the hot coffee.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the greased pan and bake for 35-40 minutes.
- Allow the cake to cool before slicing.
Notes
