Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch pan.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and baking soda.
  4. Add buttermilk and eggs to the dry mixture. Stir until the batter is smooth.
  5. Slowly mix in the hot coffee.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the greased pan and bake for 35-40 minutes.
  8. Allow the cake to cool before slicing.
