Description

Soft and chewy cookies packed with rich chocolate chips and fun rainbow sprinkles, perfect for celebrating any special occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk)
  • 1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat melted butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar on low until smooth.
  2. Mix in the egg and vanilla, then increase the speed to medium until fully combined.
  3. Add baking soda and salt, then gradually add flour until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips and rainbow sprinkles.
  5. Scoop 2 tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a lined cookie sheet and chill for at least 2 hours.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line another cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  7. Space chilled dough balls 2 inches apart on the prepared sheets.
  8. Bake for 11–15 minutes until the edges are golden and the tops are no longer glossy.
  9. Cool the cookies on the sheet for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes

Keep cookies fresh in an airtight container at room temperature. Best enjoyed within a week.
