Description

A rich chocolate cheesecake with a crunchy Oreo crust, perfect for chocolate lovers.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup melted dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix Oreo cookie crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add sour cream and vanilla, mixing well.
  5. Gradually add in eggs, one at a time, mixing just until incorporated.
  6. Stir in melted chocolate until fully combined.
  7. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center still has a slight jiggle.
  9. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside for 1 hour.
  10. Remove from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  11. Serve chilled and enjoy your indulgent treat!

Notes

For best results, serve cold and garnish with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or fresh berries. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
