Description

A delightful cheesecake infused with creamy cheesecake, rich chocolate, and a twist of caramel, topped with Twix bars for added crunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 45 Twix bars, chopped
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream (for chocolate ganache)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a greased 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  3. In a mixer, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, making sure to mix well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract and sour cream, then pour this mixture over the cooled crust.
  6. Bake for 55 minutes or until the cheesecake is set. Once done, allow it to cool and then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  7. Before serving, top your cheesecake with caramel sauce, a chocolate ganache (made by heating 2 tbsp of heavy cream and mixing it with the chocolate chips), and the chopped Twix bars.

Notes

Make sure cream cheese is at room temperature for a smooth batter. Adjust the amount of Twix bars for personal preference.
