A classic chocolate cake with a creamy filling, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • 200 ml milk
  • 80 ml oil
  • 200 g flour
  • 50 g cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • Cream filling (whipped cream or pastry cream)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour two round cake pans.
  2. In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until fluffy.
  3. Gradually add milk and oil, mixing well.
  4. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder; fold into the wet mixture.
  5. Divide the batter between the prepared pans.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow cakes to cool, then slice each cake in half horizontally.
  8. Spread cream filling between layers and on top of the cake.
  9. Decorate as desired and serve.

Notes

Store leftover cake in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. For freezing, wrap slices in plastic wrap and store for up to 2 months.
