Description

A rich and moist chocolate cake, perfect for birthdays and celebrations, or as a sweet treat!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups of Wheat Flour
  • 100 g of Dark or Milk Chocolate
  • 1 cup of Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup of Milk
  • 200 g of Butter
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp. of Cocoa
  • 2 tbsp. of Vanilla
  • 1 tsp. of Baking Powder
  • Melted Chocolate for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. In a double boiler, melt the dark or milk chocolate with the butter.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until frothy.
  4. Add the melted chocolate and butter mixture to the eggs and sugar.
  5. Mix in the vanilla, cocoa, and baking powder.
  6. Gradually add the flour, alternating with the milk, and mix well.
  7. Pour the mixture into a previously floured baking dish and spread it evenly.
  8. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Once baked, cut the cake in half horizontally and add melted chocolate to taste.
  10. Decorate the top with plenty of melted chocolate and any decorations you like.

Notes

Ensure ingredients are at room temperature for best results. Don’t overmix the batter.
